NAAT Mission

The mission of the NAAT is to serve as a catalyst for the development and delivery of skills standards and certification examinations that are performance-driven and industry-endorsed.

NAAT provides professional development activities and databases that enhance continuing education programs, skills enhancement activities, job banks, and networking opportunities for its members nationwide.

NAAT Vision and Action Profile

NAAT’s vision is that a skilled technical workforce and a vibrant aerospace industry are important elements of our nation's well-being, and improved knowledge and technical skills are essential to our continued prosperity.

The NAAT will serve as an advocate of industry-based national skills standards, providing activities, training, and examination processes that result in the enrichment of all NAAT members through an understanding and appreciation of professional ethics, accepted industry practices, and competencies in hands-on skills that match the needs of current and future aerospace systems.
